Join Whale Scout as we help Friends of North Creek Forest to restore the only urban forest in Bothell. The forest is important for killer whales and salmon because it acts as a filter for urban runoff, removing nasty toxins before they reach North Creek which is home to Chinook salmon. Come all day, or just when you can. This is a new location in the forest nearby the Friends of North Creek Forest headquarters (home of Jim Freese) so we can head inside to warm up in the office and kitchen. There will be educational forest tours, hot bbq lunch, and orca experts abound! Saving endangered whales starts right here! RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org!
