Helpin’ Out North Creek Forest and Salmon Viewing 10/6

Join your friends at Bothell’s largest urban forest! Following fun planting activities, we’ll head down to North Creek to watch spawning salmon and witness the beneficiaries of our work! The trees, roots, and soil act like a sponge slowly releasing cool, clean, water to North Creek. Friends of North Creek Forest hosts us again!

Date: October 6th, 2018

Time: 10 am – 1 pm, restoration activities, 1pm – 2pm, salmon watching!

Provided: Tools and gloves

Bring: weather-appropriate attire, boots

Kids welcome! Volunteers ages 1-15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Snacks and refreshments are provided!

Volunteer work parties provide great networking opportunities, an introduction to restoration ecology, and a fun way to spend time in the great outdoors!
