Join us to restore native vegetation along Bear Creek that will provide cool, clean, and clear water for salmon! This is your opportunity to act, get your hands dirty, and ensure local, endangered orca whales have enough salmon to eat. This is a unique private property site where we’ve worked already this fall expanding the riparian, or native vegetation zone along the creek that’s critical for salmon. These trees provide shade, filter toxic runoff, control water flow, and provide habitat for little insects that feed fish! Come learn more about the connection between orcas, salmon, and trees. Please dress for the weather. All tools and gloves are provided.
