Join Whale Scout and Friends of North Creek Forest November 19th to plant trees at Bothell’s largest urban forest. This forest is located adjacent to North Creek, home to Chinook and other salmon. The forest plays an important role in keeping waters cool and clean. Every tree planted helps maintain a diverse and healthy ecosystem and feed orcas!

On Saturday, October 8th Whale Scout volunteers planted 71 native trees at the Maury Island Marine park. It was a beautiful stormy fall day in Puget Sound with dark clouds, occasional strong winds, and by the end of the day, rain – perfect planting weather! The views over Puget Sound were stunning even without seeing any whales.
